Starfield game gets a release date
Starfield Game Officially Launching on Sep 6th This Year
Hey there, gaming enthusiasts! Big news just in – Bethesda’s most ambitious project to date, Starfield, has a new release date. Don’t worry, it’s not too far off. The game will now launch on September 6th instead of the previously announced first half of 2023.
Game director Todd Howard has also given us something to look forward to in June. Bethesda and Microsoft will host a live show where they’ll dive deep into the details of the game. “We’ll bring you into the studio and give you an in-depth look at Starfield, live,” Howard said. Exciting, right?
Initially, Starfield was supposed to launch on November 11, 2022, which is the same day and month that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim launched in 2011. But now, we’ll have to wait just a bit longer to get our hands on this highly anticipated game.
Starfield is set in space, where players will take on the role of the last group of explorers. Howard described the game as “Skyrim in space,” and it will be playable in both first-person and third-person perspectives, with a focus on the former.
This game is going to be exclusively available on Xbox Series X/S and PC, and will be available on Day One on Xbox Game Pass. The studio has promised to show us a lot more about the game in the coming months, so keep your eyes peeled for updates.
