PUBG Mobile in Southeast Asia in 2023 has introduced a new format of competition for the region, known as the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL). This has opened up a whole new dimension for the competition, and the level of gameplay has heightened in the tournament. The PMSL Southeast Asia Spring 2023 is already underway and will continue till the 16th of April 2023. PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) Southeast Asia Spring 2023: Format
In this format, instead of all teams from the concerned region going through qualifiers in order to participate in the regional finals, a portion of them will be permanent members of the League, while other teams fight it out for the remaining spots in the League. There are 15 permanent teams, 5 from Indonesia, 4 from Malaysia, 3 from Thailand, 2 from Vietnam, and 1 from the Philippines.
The fifteen teams are exempt from country-level qualification games, that is, the PMPL, and are directly able to participate in the PMSL, along with the five teams that fight their way into the League by winning their respective country leagues. Sixteen of the top-scoring teams after 3 weeks’ worth of matches proceed to the Finals where the teams compete for the title of champion.
