First look on BLACK CLOVER MOBILE: ROTWK

To begin with, Black Clover Mobile: Rise of the Wizard King is a mobile RPG game based on the Black Clover series. Black Clover Mobile was announced on December 19, 2021, during Black Clover’s panel at Jump Festa 2022. It releases sometime in 2023 on mobile, with the possibility of coming to next-gen consoles later.

Story

Firstly, for those of you unfamiliar with the anime or story of Black Clover Mobile: Rise of the Wizard King, It seemed as if humanity was on the brink of destruction by a demon. All seemed lost until a lone mage stepped forward. After his triumph, he was named the Wizard King, and his story became a legend. Accordingly, Magic is everything in this world. Asta, born without magic, made a promise to his friend that he would someday become the Wizard King!

Gameplay

Moving on to the gameplay, firstly, Black Clover Mobile: Rise of the Wizard King has a gacha system with a summon feature. Secondly, there are more than just characters to summon in this game. You can summon for spells or ultimates as well. Addiotionally, there is a rarity system to help predict the quality of the summon. Starting with R being the lowest and Rainbow being the best drop possible, Keep an eye out for guild emblems, which are also indicators of drop quality. Each summon contains up to ten cards from one of the three categories mentioned earlier. 
Thirdly, Black Clover Mobile is available in two versions: Japanese and global, each one of them has the same content with only one main difference: banner drop time. Third, we have a variety of characters to get to know, with more to come as the game is released.
