First look on Dune Awakening

Dune Awakening is an action-adventure MMO RPG. Developed and published by Funcom but with no planned release date for now. However, it first announced on 23rd August 2022 at Gamescom 2022. So we expect to see it sometime around 2023 or early 2024. Meanwhile, we can expect to play it on all major platforms, including PC via Steam, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S

Story

Dune Awakening  is set on the fictional desert planet of Arrakis. Compels players to “rise from survival to dominance” as they traverse the game’s world. Also embraces the social interactivity of popular multiplayer titles to create a unique open-world survival MMO experience.

Gameplay

So moving on to the gameplay of Dune: Awakening, Firstly, the game takes place in the golden deserts, where you are out to survive. One of the main tests in this game is surviving on the most dangerous planet in the universe. Oh, and in case we forgot to mention it, walk carefully to avoid the colossal sandworms on your journey and consider avoiding sandstorms on your path if you don’t want to end up lost or dead. Secondly, while exploring the open world of Dune Awakening, you must stay alert. You don’t walk around safe places, as you’ll be discovering new areas and secrets that no one knew existed.
Thirdly, one of your main tasks in Dune Awakening is hunting for spice blows, deploying your harvester, and protecting it. to impact this open world and leave your name stamped into the story by building your own faction and more. Fourthly, consume spices to sharpen your senses, acquire more abilities, and build your future with your own hands.
