PMPL Arabia Spring 2023: Format

Throughout the globe, the pro league has garnered a following that spans many years. Participating teams engage in a round-robin playing style throughout the week, with only the highest 16 point-earning teams proceeding to the Super Weekend. Points for all Super Weekend competitions will be tallied, and the highest 16-point earner is granted admission to the finals.

The Superweekend is the only time that points are counted towards a team’s total ranking. Points from regular games don’t count towards this, but they do help determine whether or not a team can participate in the Superweekend. The rankings achieved during the Superweekend are what determine the rewards for the league stage.
