Payday: Crime War – A New Mobile Spin-off of the Popular Heist Shooter Game is Now Available for Pre-registration

Starbreeze Studios AB has officially licensed a new spin-off mobile version of the game called Payday: Crime War. The game is now open for pre-registration for Android devices, while iOS players can head to the Apple Store to access the game.

The History of Payday

Payday first debuted in 2011 with the launch of Payday: The Heist on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The game quickly became a fan favorite due to its unique gameplay, which involved players carrying out heists in a co-op first-person shooter environment. Over the years, the franchise has gained popularity, with the release of Payday 2 in 2013.

However, in 2019, developers Starbreeze Studios halted the development of Payday due to financial difficulties. This left fans of the game disappointed, as they were eagerly awaiting the release of the third installment in the series.

After two years of development, Payday: Crime War is finally here. The game offers a 4v4 shooter-based heist management gameplay, where players can join forces with friends and pick whether to go stealthy or loud in order to execute their strategy to pull off the ideal robbery.
