Hello Neighbor 2 is an upcoming stealth horror thriller game from the Hello Neighbor game series. Coming out this December 6th on Windows, Xbox One, PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S

Story

In Hello Neighbor 2, the story is a bit different from the first sequel of the game. You play as a journalist who arrives in the town of Raven Brooks to investigate Peterson, the infamous neighbor. There have been rumors of children going to his house and never being heard from again. Some say he likes to lock people up in his basement, but no one has any proof. So people just try to avoid Mr. Peterson and his odd house and ignore the strange sounds coming from his basement at night. You have a feeling that Mr. Peterson is behind all the neighborhood disappearances, but no one believes in your ideas and theories. And while you normally wouldn’t break into someone’s house, you’re the only one who believes something is wrong and has the guts to uncover the truth.

Gameplay

Moving on to the gameplay of Hello Neighbor 2. To begin, and as you are probably aware of, you must break into his home to conduct your investigation.Not that he has much to do other than chase intruders; he’s always on your back, so sneaking about is a must in the game. Now, this may seem boring since it’s the same idea as the previous sequel, but AI changes that, which leads to our next point. Secondly, the AI neural network in the first sequel adapts to the player’s failures with traps and other things to counter them. Hello Neighbor 2 offers an optimized AI network where the neighbor alters his daily routine and changes their daily schedule. Optimized methods of locating the player and many other mechanics take place in the game.
Thirdly, not only Mr. Peterson is your target, but other neighbors are to be investigated as well. For example, the mayor has a dog in his yard, the baker and taxidermist. Aside from investigating the neighbors. You solve multiple puzzles and riddles to figure out what is going on in this town. Solving cases will change the behavior of certain neighbors to make the game more thrilling.
Accordingly, the controls are more fluid and easier in Hello Neighbor 2. Meanwhile the, walkthrough shouldn’t take more than 8 hours for a first-time beginner.
