Persona 4 Golden  is a role-playing video game by Atlus. It is chronologically the fifth installment in the Persona series. And is now coming on Ps4, Ps4, Xbox Series X and S as well as Nintendo Switch on January 19, 2023.

Story

Persona 4 Golden takes place in the fictional, rural Japanese town of Inaba. Unexplained murders have taken place in the small town. The protagonist is a high school student named Yu Narukami. After Yu and his friends accidentally enter the TV world, they encounter Teddie, who helps them travel freely between the TV and real worlds. ^[15] They awaken their Persona abilities, realizing that the murders stem from attacks by Shadows, beings native to the TV world created from repressed emotions, and are able to rescue several would-be victims.

Gameplay

In Persona 4: Golden, you arrive at school in April and make new friends to begin your adventures. Firstly, you’ll explore the city and form bonds with people from all different neighborhoods. Leveling up your attributes and working in part-time jobs are also available in the game. You can also uncover the mysteries of some dungeons, which you’ll understand better the more you play the game. Secondly, each and every one of the dungeons has different levels and floors. Accordingly, they generate the floors randomly, which means running into the same dungeon twice doesn’t mean the same floor layout and monsters.
Just like other RPG games, Persona 4 Golden has experience, gold, and items that drop whenever you clear dungeons and kill monsters. Additionally, the combat style is straight-forward and somehow not boring at all. Fourthly, you can switch between multiple personas and use their unique skillsets to clear dungeons. Finally, every dungeon you clear helps you progress further in the story and develops your relationship with other personas and school friends.
