Fortnite’s Lantern Fest 2023: Spread the Light with New Challenges, Rewards, and Contests

Fortnite is an action-packed battle royale game from Epic Games. Each year they come up with several seasonal events which reward players with a lot of new cosmetics and experience for their battle pass. And now, Lantern Fest comes returning in 2023, lighting up Fortnite with Lantography, Sandstorm Riddles, and more. In Fortnite Lantern Fest 2023, which takes place from March 22 to April 21, it’s time to spread the light.

Challenges and Rewards

The highlight of the Lantern Fest 2023 is the special Lantern Fest Tour island, designed by Illusion Creative. The island is complete with palm trees, camels, lanterns, a desert, and skyscrapers. Players can complete the island’s challenges such as Sand is Lava Parkour, Race Rumble, Flawless Fashion, and more, to unlock in-game rewards such as Lantern Spray, Cameo Needs Loot Emoticon, Dog Eat Dog Spray, and Twilight Mosaic Wrap. Part 2 of the creative island will be attached on April 6, 2023, at 10 AM EST.

Lantography Contest

Players can also participate in the Lantography contest by sharing their best screenshot of the virtual lanterns strung up around BR Island. To enter the contest, players must follow Fortnite on Twitter and upload the finest screenshot using the #LantographyContest2023 hashtag. The top 15 entries will receive the Fortnite “Cameo Needs Loot” Emoticon.

The Lantern Fest 2023 Fortography Contest submission period will run from March 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM ET until March 30, 2023, at 4:00 PM ET. Participants must be at least 13 years old to participate, and eachof them allowed to submit only one entry.

YJY Locker Bundle and xxYJYxx 2023 Cup

Fortnite content creator Faisal YJY has picked some of his favorite Locker items, and players can get their hands on the Faisal YJY Locker Bundle from April 6 at 8 PM ET. The bundle includes Maven Outfit, T-Square Pickaxe, Pop Dropper Glider, and Bobbin Emote.

Players can also compete in the xxYJYxx 2023 Cup on April 7, with the top-performing squads getting a share of a $20,000 prize pool. Specific timing for each region can be found in the Compete tab in-game. Additionally, SypherPK’s Icon Series Outfit will return to the Item Shop on March 21st at 8 PM ET.
