First look on DBZ: Kakarot Bardock DLC

As the title says, a new DBZ: Kakarot Bardock DLC has been announced for release. Experience the story of Goku’s father, Bardock, who fought alone against his fate in this new story arc that’s been developed by CyberConnect2 Co., Ltd. and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. It release on January 13, 2023 on new-generation consoles PS5 and Xbox series X/S. However, the upgrade to the new generation is free for those with the game on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Story

The story of DBZ: Kakarot Bardock DLC is the story of one who stood alone against the scum of the universe. Bardock, a warrior of the Saiyan race, spent his days invading planets with his fellow soldiers. But an incident on Planet Kanassa would bring to his attention a calamity set to befall his home, Planet Vegeta. If anything, the DLC revolves more around the story than anything else. We expect to see Goku’s father and his friends create their bond and share it till their last moments. Making the player as close to the character’s lives as possible is the best way to do this.

Gameplay

Moving on to the actual gameplay of DBZ: Kakarot Bardock DLC. Firstly, we don’t expect many changes to the gameplay style of the game compared to the last DLC. It probably has hoards of the freezer army fighting off Bardock and his teammates. Accordingly, there is the part where we have new super attacks and new soul emblems added to the game. Secondly, the boss fight in this DLC may be unique. As we all know, Bardock didn’t manage to put a single scratch on the boss, which is the freezer. And thirdly, this leads to speculation about whether winning against Freezer’s army is the way to complete the story event of DBZ: Kakarot Bardock DLC.
