Subway Surfers Celebrates 11 Years with Real-World Event

Subway Surfers, the popular endless runner game, is celebrating its 11th anniversary by bringing the game into the real world through its Hoverboard Hunt event. The event runs from May 15th to June 5th, and players can score cool in-game goodies by visiting certain landmarks in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Bringing Copenhagen Landmarks to the Game

The Hoverboard Hunt event features iconic landmarks from Copenhagen, including the Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen Airport, Creative Denmark, Royal Danish Library (The Black Diamond), and BLOX. Each location will offer a Subway Surfers-inspired artwork with a QR code that players can scan to claim their goodies within the game.

The in-game World Tour also puts Copenhagen front and center, featuring the same Hoverboard Hunt destinations within the endless runner.
